I had the opportunity to go for a walk today at Island Beach State Park – it was warm and calm, sunny, with a bit of haze. As usual, I was hoping for owls, seals, foxes, and the like. I did see foxes, but none that presented an opportunity for an interesting photograph. The highlight of the walk was a flock of dunlins (a kind of sandpiper), nestled together on the beach, all standing on one leg. Here are a few photos to enjoy.
